The Arthritis Center of Connecticut is the first and only facility totally dedicated to the diagnosis and care of arthritis and related conditions. The 3,000 square foot facility, conveniently located at 171 Grandview Avenue, Suite 101 Waterbury, CT 06708, is completely self-contained.

We offer on site orthopaedic surgical consultation with Digital X-Ray capability making the  Arthritis Center a truly a one stop facility for twenty-first century care of musculo-skeletal problems.

Dr. Richard Matza, the surgical director, has over four decades of clinical and surgical experience performing orthopaedic procedures. He has trained in Boston, Massachusetts, New York City, New York and Washington DC hospitals. He has lectured  nationally and published on state of the art topics in othopaedic surgery.

Every attempt is made to properly diagnose and treat a variety of arthritic conditions emphasizing conservative measures first and then surgical techniques only if necessary

The radiology suite is newly renovated  featuring a new digital X-ray machine that is capable of producing the highest resolution musculo-skeletal images available.

Appointments can be made with the Arthritis Center staff without a specific referral if allowed by your insurance company. Our staff can help you determine the appropriate actions in your case.
