Arthritis Center Staff

Arthritis Center ongoing care of patients with various forms of arthritis, osteoporosis, or chronic pain is carried out by a Board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is skilled and experienced in performing rheumatologic procedures such as aspiration of joint effusions (fluid in joints due to inflammation), injections of steroids or other essential medications into joints, or injections for tendonitis or bursitis. He is  also skilled in the use of ultrasound for needle guidance, increasing the accuracy and efficacy of these procedures and in the use of ultrasound for diagnostic purposes, sometimes obviating the need for radiographic procedures.
